Van Fleet Homes is a boutique home builder in Tyler, Texas.

Ed and Debbie Van Fleet met on the playground in elementary school. He was impressed with her kickball skills right away, but waited a few years before he proposed! After moving their family several times to various parts of Alabama and Georgia, they finally settled in Tyler in 1998, and are proud to call East Texas home.

Both are deeply involved in the community. Debbie has worked as a teacher, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and for the past 8 years has led a Bible Study Fellowship group. Ed has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, has served on the Trustee and Finance committees at his church, and spent 20 years as an executive at Brookshire Grocery Company before focusing on his passion for building. He is also a licensed realtor with Newberry Real Estate.

They have two grown children—a daughter in Austin and a son in El Paso—and an adopted rescue dog that thinks she is still a puppy.
